The Jackson-Milton Local School District is mourning the tragic loss of longtime maintenance supervisor David Cameron, whose passing has left students, staff, and community members heartbroken.
David Cameron, 53, died following an incident that occurred on the campus of Jackson-Milton High School in Milton Township, Ohio, on Wednesday afternoon. According to a report from the Milton Township Police Department, Cameron sustained a severe head injury after being struck by a tree branch while working on school grounds.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene and arrived to find school employees already administering CPR in an effort to save his life. Cameron was transported by emergency medical personnel to a nearby hospital for treatment. Despite the efforts of first responders and medical staff, he later succumbed to his injuries.
